About Us

STYX was originally an idea created in 2010 with a big interest in surf, skate and snow sports. There’s so many inspiring people out there willing to take their adventure to the next level and we want to be able to be a part of it.

Our origins was based on the fact that we are boarders and the one main thing that links us together is a plank of wood (or fibre) under our feet. Essentially we love sticks or ‘STYX’! The name also happens to derive from a 40 foot dinosaur (styxosaurus) that lived in our oceans. Being sea lovers, we thought it was fate that our brand should be called STYX.

Our goal is to enjoy life, have many adventures and we hope you will join us.
